The Capetonian Indie Pop group, now based in London, known as HONEYMOAN, released their newest single, titled “Riff Before Work”, telling a heartfelt story about the hardships experienced with a former lover.

Talented songbird, Alison Rachel, dominated the track, sharing her experience with unexpectedly falling out of love with her estranged lover, coming to terms that they’ve accepted the end of their relationship, even unfriending and unfollowing each other.

However, a day arrives when they both comprehend that the love still lingers between the two of them, and they realize that their compassion for one another never truly concluded.

The instrumentals were exhilarating to listen to, with loud guitar strums booming over the heavy rattles of the drums, gracefully assisting Alison’s angelic vocals over the track. A truly enjoyable Indie Pop track.
