SA House Music has found a new gem, with Lelam releasing his short but sweet EP titled “The Guy for the Three Stripes”.

With just three tracks on the project, this was a seductive listening experience, having the gifted vocalist grace his voice over luscious house beats that had us wanting to sway our hips from side to side.

Each song had the songbird express his emotions, with “The Signs” being our standout track of the project, really displaying what the prospect is capable of producing when he’s really locked in with a simple house beat.

The only exception to the House genre was the final track “Yesterday & Today” which had Lelam expand his talents over an Afrohouse beat, which was a blessing to listen to.

There aren’t many musicians who have tapped into this genre deeply yet, but we see a bright future for Lelam if he continues to push this wave of music in South Africa.
