Gifted music producer and composer, NOTBENJAMIN, surprised us with the release of “CELESTIAL BLUES 2” taking us back in time (six years to be precise) and returning to his original roots and how his distinct sound originated.

This project combines beats that were produced way back then with some of his newer work, with the artist stating that this body of work was technically in the works for six years and that it was really meant for all of his day ones.

Expect no vocal performances going into this album, just invigorating electronic-trap compositions infusing loud elements like heavy 808’s, loud bass, and dystopian background samples that really make the listener feel like they’re travelling through the vast universe after dropping a tab of acid.

This album really shows us how truly talented NOTBENJAMIN is when just his beats are displayed, and it made us cherish his talent even more as an artist and we can truly appreciate his creative genius.

Hosting 9 tracks and a run-time of 33 minutes, every second of the project had our heads moving up and down along the tempo and aura of each track, with standout hits like “AREA 51”, “LIFT OFF”, and “BLUEPRINT” showcasing how brilliant of an album this is.

This listening experience was a breath of a fresh air and it’s great to see that there are still some artists out there who appreciate their original forms and are willing to run it back for their loyal day one fans.
