Orish has been on an outstanding run of musical output, constantly dropping impressive bodies of art, like his collaborative EP alongside K.Keed, titled “uMgaranto”, back in 2023, or his marvellous “Kude ne Khaya” EP that dropped back in 2022.

However, he announced that his latest offering, titled “Ma’Orie 3”, would be the final installment to his series, not failing to impress with his thrilling performance on the six-track project.

We’ve always appreciated Orish’s distinct sound, and this tape had the virtuoso dominate every track with his high-pitched cadence that made every track a vibrant listening experience.

We especially loved his unique sound on tracks like “Oza”, “Xesha na Xesha”, or “Maya Angelou” which really had Orish put on a sublime performance, showcasing why he’s so widely adored in the music world.

A major point we have to mention was his ability to switch up the style or tempo of each track, having heavy Trap numbers like “On Me” or “Maya Angelou”, while taking on more vibey beats like the track “Yintoni na?” that had a more mellow feeling to it.

However, our standout moments from the tape were Orish’s ability to easily merge his sound with the multiple cameo appearances, having big-name stars like Ewiva!, Flow Jones Jr, and K.Keed all put in an impeccable shift.

And the beat selection for this tape was out of this world. Listening to this EP had us raise our headphone volume to the highest level, enjoying the loud 808s, claps, and background noises that had us constantly bopping our heads. Shoutouts to the likes of BiggaBeatz, 4turix, D3NZL, n.k.v.y, and DO2 for their production efforts.

Overall, this was a perfect conclusion for the series and we look forward to what else Orish has in store for us fans. Check out the tape, now available on streaming platforms.
