Stirring up anticipation for his upcoming project, which is scheduled to release sometime soon, Pumas+Roses dropped his newest love ballad, “I STILL LOVE YOU FROM A MILE”.

The single had the bright mind team up with Leynarthy, a songbird with a voice that could shake any room. The duo used this track to explore a tale of the hardships of being in love over a celestial instrumental that had me instantly falling in love with the combination of sounds I was hearing.

This wasn’t my first time listening to the gifted Johannesburg poet's work. Not so long ago, he released a brilliant body of work titled “POWER TO THE PEOPLE FM.”. Heading into this track, I was expecting to hear him expand more on his lyrical skills with his captivating storytelling abilities.

However, this single blew me away with his newer approach to crafting music, taking on a more somber approach with a smooth, soulful instrumental that utilized soft keynotes and fascinating background elements that put my listening experience at ease.

The performance from the two was also top-notch, having Leynarthy and Pumas flaunt their singing abilities as they told their tale of love. Leynarthy’s voice was one of power, hitting some of the most beautiful notes I have heard in a while and Puma's verse was also a sublime moment on the track.

I loved everything about this track, and it definitely has me interested in what’s to come on his upcoming project. I look forward to it and hope you check out the single, now available on streaming platforms.
