It’s a wonder how The KID Eclipse can create such electrifying music. After a long wait and anticipation, the special talent finally dropped his latest album, “PROBLEM CHILD”, gifting Trap fans a delightful basket of music to savor.

The second we hit play on the first track, “BEND LAWS”, we knew we were in for one hell of a ride, with Eclipse stating his opinion on the state of past society and authority affecting the youth, leading to his rebellion.

Right after, we had eerie instrumentals raging over the instrumental until halfway into the track we realized it had only just begun, with Eclipse immediately bringing on the rage over an explosive Trap beat. Nostxlgia also pulled off a thrilling cameo appearance on this banger of an intro. Man, this was a brilliant way to start off the album.

The following track, titled “THERE HE GOES”, is one we absolutely adore and have already covered, so you’re more than welcome to check out our previous review of that joint.

Track three was another crazy experience, having Nostxlgia make a second appearance with a crazy performance on the track “LEADER OF THE YOUTH”. The track had the two prospects synchronize with each other, having them both expand on why they should be taken seriously as the leaders of the next generation.

“THE PLUG - Freestyle” was a brilliant moment of the project, having the talented artist go off, showcasing how skilled he can be with his wordplay over a stimulating beat that had trumpets blaring behind his vocals.

Of course, the next track, titled “STRESS”, was the one that started it all, reminding us of the time we first listened to Eclipse’s sound and realized how special of a creative genius he is. You can also check out the review we previously did on that track.

By the time we got to the sixth track of the project, it was clear how well-produced this project was, with Eclipse’s beat selection being top-notch. “GET PAID” had the star teach us an important lesson on stacking them racks, and we must add, there’s this thing that Eclipse does with his vocals, always altering his pitch, giving us Travis Scott vibes, and it’s one thing we love about his sound.

“MY SIDE” was our personal favourite of the project, with the exhilarating beat utilizing loud trumpets singing a lovely tune over Eclipse’s bars. The song urges the listener to switch over to his side, claiming how much better it is over on his side. The hook was super catchy, and it paired brilliantly with the beat.

The closing track, titled “SLOW IT DOWN”, slowed down the tempo of the project, but in a lovely way. What we loved about this outro was Eclipse’s ability to dominate the track with his singing abilities, and this track showcased that perfectly. It shows how versatile of a musician he truly is.

This was a fantastic, well-constructed, and highly entertaining body of Trap music to experience. From the beats to Eclipse’s performance, the whole aura of this album made it so exciting to listen to. We have to credit his team, Pelo Ntelekoa and Philipp Shelby, for their contribution to the production of the album.

After what seemed like a huge amount of time waiting for this release, we’re stoked to know we weren’t let down by Eclipse and it was everything and more we had hoped for from the project.

Stream the album, now available on major streaming platforms.
