Hinting at a brand-new EP on the way, T!MBO teased what could be expected from the project, delivering fans his fresh hit titled “GROWTH”.

The track has the young musician express his raw emotions and how he’s only been grinding at ten percent and is now driven to do anything to achieve his goals, even asking for forgiveness.

The rest of the track continues to address this narrative, with the hook being one of the catchiest ones we’ve heard in a while (we’re still struggling to get it out of our heads).

The beat was fantastic to listen to, utilizing eerie background instrumentals that sounded like they came straight out of a horror film, bringing a sinister atmosphere over the whole song.

Having listened to his previous work, this is only the second time we’ve witnessed T!MBO take on a more gripping approach at the Hip-Hop genre (with this track and “COMEBACK SZN”), with his previous work focusing more on slower R&B jams like the collaboration project “Safari’s Sunset” alongside D3NZL that released earlier this year.

We’re interested to hear if he may blend these two sounds or completely flip the switch and have a whole different approach with the EP.

Either way, we look forward to what the talented Capetonian musician will bring to the table.
