The Capetonian hitmaker, TVZ, dropped his newest single, titled “OMT”, making it known to the game that he’s not to be messed with, firing warning shots toward his opps.

Unraveling the acronym, it simply spelled out one-man team, a phrase TVZ repeatedly used to signify how he’s fully capable of looking after himself when it comes to anyone willing to test his gangster.

This was our first interaction with TVZ’s vexed persona, with the song starting with him angrily uttering “One man team don’t you come around me, no man clean it gets dirty in these streets”. From the moment we heard those lines, we immediately knew what type of song we were in for.

This track exposed a side of TVZ we weren’t familiar with, having him break away from his familiar sombre approach towards his sound, shaking it up with intimidating lyrics, impressive quickfire verses we had no idea he was equipped with, and taking on an exhilarating Trap beat produced by Santana Star.

We found this new single super enticing, a breath of fresh air, and most importantly, it showcased how versatile of an artist TVZ truly is.

Peep the track, now available on major streaming platforms.
