Rising musician, TVC, has had a productive year so far, releasing tracks like “EXTC”, “UNKNOWN FREESTYLE”, and “ZZZ”.

It was no surprise to see him follow up with his latest single titled “SMILE”, having the versatile artist showcase a different version of himself, having himself take on a more sombre persona.

The Capetonian talent chose to use this joint as a way of tapping into his melodic abilities, singing about the struggles he has had to face in his life while pulling a fake smile to show he’s coping while knowing deep down he’s hurting.

This was an emotional song to endure, especially with the loud piano keys rippling over the slow and soft instrumentals playing in the background, creating a desolate aura.

This track showed us how wide TVZ’s range can reach when it comes to trying out different styles, really emphasizing his versatility. We can’t wait for the Cape Town gem to finally release a full body of work.
