The young singer’s ascension continues flourishing in the Cape Town music environment.

After what I deemed a successful 2024, with the release of her brilliant “Dark” EP that impressed me, Tyler Page kicked off her 2025 with her newest Pop single, titled “Over You”.

This track by the Pop princess had her narrate a sombre tale of her journey after a heartbreak, unveiling her past experiences of anxiety and sadness after a breakup. However, she’s moved past that point of her life, revealing how she’s finally over her past lover.

Trust me, I know that feeling too well. Tyler did an incredible job at telling her story with her charming vocal performance over a lovely instrumental that had moments of sad tones before switching it up into an upbeat tempo over the lovely chorus.

This was a moving track as it told a story many of us have had to, unfortunately, go through. Trust me, I know that feeling too well.
