Cape Town truly is blessed with many talents, having JARRY PITBOI link up with LEE3X3i to release their single “Samsara”.

The joint had the tag team duo tell a story on one’s come up in the game and how it’s not meant for everybody. Topics like money and how to use it, competition that surrounds them, and the drive it takes to pursue this lifestyle all play a part in this track.

They also speak on how they’ve had to do it all alone, carrying all the pressure from their peers on their backs and having to deal with all the issues by themselves.

The beat was also brilliant, with a dark and twisted piano note ringing in the background over a Boom-Bap beat, creating a spine-chilling environment.

Both poets did an incredible job with their verses, showcasing their impeccable lyrical abilities, and it’s incredible to know talents like this are on the rise in Cape Town.

This was an interesting song to listen to, having us as the listeners really understand the hustler’s mentality of trying to make it work and not giving up in a dense rap community.
