Kozee Chikwenya’s new Drop has Him In His “Feelings”

If you aren’t familiar with Kozee Chikwenya’s sublime discography, you’re missing out on impressive music. The talented lyricist has been consistently putting out astounding music for what feels like forever, striving to make an imprint in the SA music scene.

Just recently, he dropped his newest single of the year alongside Spiroz, titled “Feelings”, gifting listeners a song of brilliance, infusing Trap elements while also telling a heartfelt tale of his experiences with love.

What I loved the most about this single was the way Kozee and Spiroz combined elements of Trap while telling a story of love, appreciating the feelings they’ve experienced with their lovers, and how much those emotions have made him become better, even while not expecting it.

I also really loved the beat of the track, infusing heavy 808s and kicks with an eerie guitar instrumental looming in the background, while the two virtuosos went off along with the beat with their stunning performances.

Kozee really is next up, and we look forward to what else he has in store for the rest of the year. The “Ward 58 Mixtape” star has tons of potential and we’re sure this will be his year. Peep the new single, now available on streaming platforms.
