Mwai begs for his “Time Back”

Taking on the mantle of a Rockstar-Rapper, it’s not hard to understand why Mwai refers to himself as that.

“Time Back” is everything you need to hear to fully grasp why he chose to take on this title, displaying raw, entertaining energy over a heavily stimulated trap beat.

Mwai uses his sharp vocals to tell a tale of his frustrations with a girl in his life, detailing his pointless phone calls with her, him not being sure what sort of relationship they’re really in, and how he hasn’t been himself and is instead trying to work on that.

He goes off as if he feels it’s all a waste of time to him, going as far as to ask for his time back (hence the title), but eventually, he realizes he still wants to indulge with her whenever she’s alone.

This was a fun track, with the loud trap beat ringing in the background. To top it off the chorus was honestly so catchy, and it made the whole track a vibe, even after the first listen.
